What we build

ViTA

A platform speech and language therapists use to configure, run and monitor individualised aphasia interventions. It is in production and in day-to-day use.

Built on a clinical method, not a content library

ViTA follows a cognitive neuropsychological approach: therapy is targeted at the specific level of language processing that has broken down, rather than drawing on a general pool of exercises. The approach is established in aphasiology; what is ours is how ViTA applies it.

What it does for a therapist

A therapist configures an intervention for one person, assigns it, and sees what happened between sessions — what was attempted, what was completed, where the difficulty was. The work continues between appointments instead of stopping at the clinic door.

Where it stands

ViTA is in production and used daily by practising therapists. An abstract describing the approach was presented at Science of Aphasia in 2024.

Why this page is here

We are a product company before we are a partner. Everything we offer a research consortium — software that gets built, deployed and operated, and that fits how clinicians actually work — we have had to do for ourselves first, with real users and real consequences for getting it wrong.

ViTA has its own site, with demos and details for therapists and institutions.
